Craig M. MacDonald is an associate professor in the School of Information at Pratt Institute where he developed the Master of Science in Information Experience Design and User Experience (UX) advanced certificate programs. He is also the faculty director of the Center for Digital Experiences, a faculty-led, student-driven UX consultancy and academic research lab. His research focuses on strengthening UX practices and improving HCI/UX education. He has expertise in usability evaluation, user research, and UX design and has led over 300 students through course-based and extracurricular UX consulting projects on behalf of libraries, cultural heritage institutions, start-ups, and media companies. He holds a Ph.D. in Information Studies and Human-Computer Interaction from Drexel University and an M.S. in Applied and Mathematical Statistics from Rutgers University.
